Our client, a successful multinational services company offering industrial painting and contracting services to the mines and heavy industry is looking to hire an experienced NDT Inpsector.


TheTechnicians overall responsibilities are,but not limited to, the following:

  •  Setup and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
  • Interpret radiographs, digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
  • Speaks and writes clearly and informatively, responds well to questions, practices active listening and exhibits discretion.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality and able to approach/evaluate a problem from many angles.
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, changes approach or method to best fit the situation and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Balances team and individual responsibilities and exhibits objectivity and openness to other views and also gives and welcomes honest and open feedback.
  • Organize and report test results.
  • Perform specialized inspections.
  • Able to,if required,instruct and supervise others.
  • Perform other job related tasks as as signed by management.
  • Interface daily with the client about work priorities and progress of projects.
  • Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions.
  • Actively participate in client safety initiatives, incident investigations, etc.
  • May at times be required to work at height on ropes.


The NDT Inspector is responsible for non-destructive tests and inspections onvarious structures, machines, pipes,weld joints that require inspections and to evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards and specifications.

Must belevel II qualified and holdins either one or more of the following methods :MT,PT,UT,UTM

Must hold a valid BOSIET

Must have a minimum of 1 year’s offshore experience as an NDT Technician.

Required to hold an IRATA accredited Rope Access certification
